2 slices of bread
1 slice of white American cheese
Real bacon bits OR if you want to cook real bacon
1 small potato
Peel and slice potato. Fry up the potatoes as if you were making fries.
You can do this one of two ways. Assemble the sandwich on the skillet or on a plate first.
Butter one side of the bread. Place a slice of cheese on the unbuttered side.
Add bacon bits.
Add your fried potatoes.
Add shredded cheese and then add the other piece of bread. If you want you can add chopped green onions to the sandwich. Cook in a skillet on medium until golden on each side and cheese is melted.
Dip your sandwich in sour cream. It seriously is one of my new favorite sandwiches. It would be good with some deli sliced turkey lunch meat as well.
