1.25 lbs of turkey meat
1 teaspoon of Worcestershire sauce
1 pkg of smoky applewood seasoning by grịllmates
1/2 a pkg of chopped bacon
Block of mild cheddar cheese
Favorite toppings for burgers
Mix meat, worcestershire sauce, and seasoning together.
Picture of the seasoning packet.
Finely chopped your bacon.
Mix bacon in with the meat. If you make a crease in your meat like pictured you dont have to worry about pulling meat off other patties already made to make up with that little bit of meat left over.
If you take two fingers and press down a little in the middle, it helps keep the patties flat when cooking.
Hit your pan up on medium heat. (You can cook this on the grịll and cook like normal burgers). Once burgers start cooking I put a few more drops of worcestershire sauce on top of burgers. I cooked them about 6-7 minutes on each side.
I grated the cheese over the burgers right before they were finished to melt it some. Mild cheddar cheese goes REALLY well with the flavor of this burger, plus fresh grated cheese is the bomb.com 😉
The flavor was so amazing that you could not tell it was turkey meat instead of hamburger meat. You can use this recipe with Hamburger meat if you prefer. I cooked homemade potato chips. Recipe for chips is at https://lacielovell.wordpress.com/2013/10/22/potato-chips/
