1 14 oz of smoked sausage
1 orange bell pepper
1 red bell pepper
1 cup of rice
1/2 teaspoon of cumin (give or take)
1/2 teaspoon of onion powder (give or take)
1/2 teaspoon of garlic powder
1/2 teaspoon of minced garlic
1 tablespoon of olive oil
2 cups of water
This is the sausage I used. I found it at walmart.
Heat up the oil in a pan and once it gets hot enough put the minced garlic, sausage, and peppers in. Stir occasionally for 5 minutes.
Add in your rice and stir around until it starts browning.
Once the rice has browned, add in the seasonings along with the water and stir together. Cover and cook for 20-25 minutes or until rice is done.
