1 bag of chili cheese Frito’s
1can of nacho cheese
1 can of refried beans
1 lb of ground turkey OR ground beef
1 can of rotel
Mexican style shredded cheese
2.5 teaspoons of cumin and chili powder
2 teaspoons of minced garlic
1.5 teaspoons of garlic powder
1.5 onion powder
Salt to taste
1 small onion chopped
Add the cumin, onion powder, minced garlic, chili powder, salt, garlic powder, and onion to the meat will browning it.
Heat up the cheese and add the juice from the rotel and 1/3 of the can. Stir occasionally until heated up.
**Once the meat is browned stir in the refried beans until heated throughout.***
In a 9X9 pan add a layer of Frito’s. You MAY NOT use the entire bag.
Preheat oven at 350°**
Spread the meat/bean mixture over the chips evenly as possible.
Spread the cheese over the meat/bean layer.
Sprinkle the shredded cheese and bake in the oven for 15-20 minutes or until bubbly.
Finished product 🙂 major hit in our household.
